"What Makes a T-Star Running Skirt so Fabulous?"
After trying some name-brand running skirts, and being sorely disappointed (literally- chafing hurts) I decided to try making my own. I bought a pattern online and quickly learned that it wasn't much better than the store-bought skirts. Within a few hours of putting my sewing and alteration skills to work, I had created my own pattern that included virtually wedge-proof shorts, which are stitched in a way to reduce chafing, under a simple skirt. One epiphany later, I had my now patented design: A skirt with waistband pockets over shorts that don't ride up.
Since I know the reason store-bought skirts aren't perfect is because they only make them one way, I make these skirts the way YOU want them. Do you want a 4-inch inseam in the shorts or an 8-inch? Do you have a color preference? Would you like a fuller, longer skirt? Or a shorter tighter skirt? DONE! On the ordering page, I ask for a lot of measurements and information. This is to ensure that your skirt fits you.
Because being able to pack all your accessories into the waistband pockets without having to wear a gear-belt is so handy, I do make the shorts alone. They are a unisex style and are also very comfortable under other pants on colder days. I also make tights - same pattern as the shorts, just longer.
Items I currently offer:
Running skirt featuring waistband pockets and attached wedge-resistant shorts with a 5" inseam, unless otherwise requested. Various colors and patterns available.
- Standard or Mini style with shorts and waistband pockets ($70) *See below pictures for comparison of Standard and Mini
-add PottyPanel for $11 more
-add one leg-pocket for $7
- Skirt with 6 pockets (4 waistband, 2 side-of-leg) ($82)
-add PottyPanel for $11 more
- Running skirt (w/ waistband pockets) with no shorts underneath.** ($59)
- Running skirt - no pockets and no shorts underneath. ($39)
**NOTE- The pockets on the skirt with no shorts should not be used for heavier items, such as smartphones. The shorts anchor the skirt and keep the full waistband pockets from bouncing.
Shorts, Tights and Extras:
- Compression-style shorts featuring waistband pockets. ($52)
- Shorts with no pockets. ($29)
- Shorts with side-pockets (no waistband pockets) ($60)
- Tights, no pockets (full-length or 3/4 length) ($49)
- Tights (both lengths) with waistband pockets ($62)
- Arm-sleeves, made to your measurements ($30)
- Gaiters ($23 or 20*)
(*Due to ridiculous shipping costs, gaiters are $20 when bought with another item, but $23 if the only item bought.)

"Potty Panel" Information:
Part of my patented skirt design is a way for the center panel of the shorts to open to facilitate emptying one's bladder without pulling the skirt down. This feature is available on any skirt with shorts (or even just the shorts.)
